Key Responsibilities:

Detailed Description From Employer:

RM Recruit are working with a large Housing provider to recruit an Interim Senior Finance Business Partner for their team. This 6 month assignment will see you cover the duties of the role whilst the permanent post holder is seconded onto a project. Acting as the key finance stakeholder for a £100m + division, you will support budget holders in providing an effective, value for money service.

Key responsibilities will include, but not be linted to:

  • Lead Operational Oversight. Monitor and review the overall asset service to enable the Senior Management Team to effectively manage risk and ensure long-term capacity.
  • Engage with budget holders and operational managers by integrating into the assigned business area.
  • Enhance Finance Systems: Develop and optimise systems to ensure accurate and timely data exchange with budget holders.
  • Identify improvement areas within teams to promote collaboration and deliver precise data for monthly and quarterly management accounts, including insightful variance analysis.
  • Support Forecasting by assisting budget holders with monthly financial forecasts, challenging assumptions where necessary.
  • Create, maintain, and review all asset management finance policies.
  • Work with the finance director to manage role-specific risks and collaborate with Finance peers to address team-wide risks.
  • Deliver strategic reports that offer forward-looking insights for the Board, management team, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure Data Integrity support timely and compliant taxation services across the Group.

The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant who has experience of delivering robust business partnering services to large divisions in sizable organisations. Rather than supporting purely head office functions, your experience will show effective liaison with front line managers and directors, dealing with any push back and discussion on reports and analysis.

This is fully remote role but some occasional presence in the West Midlands will be required.
