Summary: This role is for a Senior Facilities Management Consultant focused on delivering comprehensive FM reviews across various client sites in London and the South East. The consultant will lead multi-site assessments of hard FM, soft FM, and security services, identifying opportunities for operational transformation and cost savings. The position requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as expertise in commercial acumen and stakeholder engagement. The contract is for three months and classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:

Senior Facilities Management Consultant Remote Role - some travel across London and south East 3 month contract Inside of IR35 £785 per day This is a Senior FM professional role focused on delivering a comprehensive Facilities Management (FM) review across multiple client sites. Engagements will vary, working across public or private sector and a range of markets. Geographic locations and duration of specific engagements will also vary. The nature of this assignment is to lead a multi-site FM review, assessing hard FM, soft FM and security services, identifying opportunities for operational transformation, cost savings, and service excellence. You will operate at a senior level, engaging in Opportunity Assessment, Savings Delivery, Transformation, Strategic Sourcing, Contract and Supplier Relationship Management, and Project/Programme Management. You will be expected to lead consultancy deliverables, manage teams or work independently, and contribute to internal business development, best practice, and innovation. Ideally you will have experience working in the Rail Sector.
Key Skills & Competencies: Deep expertise in hard FM, soft FM and security services, with experience in multi-site environments. Commitment to service and delivery excellence with attention to detail and strong presentation and written skills. Strong commercial acumen, with a history of achieving and exceeding financial targets (EBIT, revenue growth, cost savings). Subject matter expert in cost modelling FM services. Demonstrable success in delivering large-scale FM procurement projects and operational transformation. Strong interpersonal and engagement skills with ability to develop effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Strong leadership and management skills with solid experience in direct and indirect people management. Expertise in process reengineering, continuous improvement frameworks (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S), and technology implementation. Good commercial skills to ensure delivery against contractual requirements and the management of contractual risks. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and report-writing skills.
Experience Requirements: Significant experience in senior FM roles, with responsibility for both hard and soft services, and ideally also security, across multiple sites. Up to date with current statutory procurement legislation and EU procurement directives, and capable of training others. Experience working in a complex and changing environment with demanding business objectives. Demonstrable commercial skills, with experience at delivering procurement savings in public and/or private sector organisations. Ability to manage multiple work streams, at different stages of development simultaneously. Business consultancy experience and knowledge of sourcing across complex categories within multiple industry sectors. Experience of direct and indirect people management would be advantageous. Experience leading major FM bids, including responsibility for the full bid lifecycle (solution development, tender submission, client negotiation, and contract mobilisation).
