Summary: The role of Senior Excel Consultant involves supporting a billing systems conversion project through detailed billing reconciliation and data validation activities. The position is fully remote and requires advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, particularly in using various functions and tools to analyze large datasets. The consultant will collaborate with project managers and finance teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure data accuracy during the migration process. This is a contract position with a project duration of 4 weeks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform billing reconciliation between legacy and new billing systems
  • Analyze large datasets using advanced Excel functions and tools
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in billing records
  • Validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency during system migration
  • Create reconciliation reports, summaries, and audit documentation
  • Use formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query, and other advanced Excel features to automate and streamline reconciliation tasks
  • Collaborate with project managers, finance teams, and technical stakeholders to resolve data issues
  • Support testing and validation efforts during billing system cutover
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy with sensitive financial data

Billing Reconciliation Excel Specialist (Contract Remote)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Excel expert to support a billing systems conversion project by performing detailed billing reconciliation and data validation activities.

Key Responsibilities

Perform billing reconciliation between legacy and new billing systems

Analyze large datasets using advanced Excel functions and tools

Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in billing records

Validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency during system migration

Create reconciliation reports, summaries, and audit documentation

Use formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query, and other advanced Excel features to automate and streamline reconciliation tasks

Required Qualifications
