Summary: The Senior Enterprise Architect will define the enterprise architecture vision for a public sector client, focusing on aligning IT architecture with business objectives. This role requires collaboration with stakeholders to simplify complex architectures and ensure strategic alignment with existing projects. The architect will also provide technical leadership and drive the adoption of emerging technologies while ensuring compliance with governance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and develop the enterprise architecture vision, roadmap, and governance framework.
  • Design and document "as-is" and "to-be" architectures, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Establish and maintain architectural design principles, technical artefacts, and best practices.
  • Conduct strategic reviews of existing IT projects and propose recommendations for alignment with enterprise architecture.
  • Develop and implement IT architecture and strategy, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
  • Work collaboratively with IT teams, business stakeholders, and senior leadership to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud platforms, middleware integration, and API-driven architectures.
  • Influence stakeholders at all levels by presenting complex architectural concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Drive adoption of emerging technologies and industry best practices to enhance business capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and data governance standards.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in defining and articulating complex enterprise architectures to stakeholders.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and influencing skills to drive architecture decisions.
  • Expertise in Salesforce, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), middleware integration products, and API-driven architectures.
  • Experience in IT strategy, digital transformation, and business process optimization.
  • Ability to conduct architecture reviews and gap analyses to drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong understanding of security, compliance, and data governance frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or similar.
