Summary: The Senior Engineer role requires candidates with active Security Clearance (SC) to focus on Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Commerce. This position involves supporting a high-profile program with an emphasis on environment strategy and deployment lifecycle management. The role is remote but requires candidates to be based in the UK. It is a long-term opportunity with a contract duration of 12 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proven experience as Senior Engineer focused on Dynamics F&O and Commerce
- Active Security Clearance (SC)
- Provisioning environments via Lifecycle Services (LCS), including Dataverse and SQL configuration
- Managing deployments across development, test, UAT, and production environments
- Applying and validating application updates and managing binary packages
- Designing scalable environment strategies, including multi-region rollouts and pilot setups
- Understanding security configuration, user roles, and access controls
- Ensuring integration readiness for Dual Write, Power Platform, and external systems
- Using LCS monitoring tools and telemetry for issue resolution
- Maintaining clear documentation to support governance and rollback procedures
- Collaborating effectively with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and source control
