Senior EDW Data Analyst – Retail Banking / Regulatory - Remote

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior EDW Data Analyst with 15+ years of experience and deep expertise in banking data and Enterprise Data Warehouse environments. The candidate must have strong retail banking and regulatory data/reporting experience and be capable of working across complex enterprise data ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead data analysis for large-scale retail banking and regulatory initiatives.
• Analyze customer, account, transaction, product, and regulatory data across banking platforms.
• Gather complex business and regulatory requirements and translate them into data requirements.
• Perform source-to-target mapping, data lineage, profiling, validation, and reconciliation.
• Analyze data across multiple source systems and enterprise data warehouse platforms.
• Support regulatory reporting and data governance initiatives.
• Work closely with compliance, regulatory, business, data engineering, architecture, and reporting teams.
• Perform advanced SQL analysis and troubleshoot complex data discrepancies.
• Identify data quality issues and define appropriate remediation approaches.
• Develop detailed functional/data specifications and mapping documentation.
• Provide senior-level guidance to analysts and project teams.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of overall IT/data experience.
• Extensive EDW/Data Analyst experience.
• Strong retail banking domain experience.
• Strong banking regulatory / regulatory reporting experience.
• Advanced SQL and data analysis skills.
• Deep understanding of enterprise data warehousing.
• Strong experience with source-to-target mapping, data lineage, reconciliation, and data quality.
• Experience working with ETL/data integration teams.
• Understanding of data governance and regulatory data controls.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
