Summary: The Senior DevSecOps Engineer role is a contract position focused on modernizing an application delivery platform, specifically migrating workloads from Docker Compose to Kubernetes. Key Responsibilities:
- Migrate containerised applications from Docker Compose to Kubernetes
- Build and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins
- Implement DevSecOps and software supply chain security controls, including SAST, dependency scanning, container scanning, secrets detection, and image signing
- Improve deployment automation, release reliability, rollback, and traceability
- Troubleshoot CI/CD and Kubernetes deployment issues
- Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and security teams
Key Skills:
- 6+ years' experience in DevSecOps or Platform Engineering, with DevSecOps as your primary focus
- Strong hands-on Kubernetes and Docker experience; k3s experience preferred
- Proven experience migrating workloads from Docker Compose to Kubernetes
- Strong CI/CD experience with Azure DevOps plus GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins
- Solid Linux, scripting, and automation experience
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
