Summary: The Senior DevOps Engineer role involves managing AWS-hosted services, primarily focusing on operations, documentation, and maintenance of existing systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage operations on a live production service hosted on AWS.
- Build, configure, and maintain AMI images using Packer and Ansible.
- Work with container images using Docker.
- Document, maintain, operate, and improve existing running services.
- Create and refine tickets, tracking work within an agile or DevOps framework.
Key Skills:
- Experience with AWS services, particularly EC2 and ECS.
- Proficiency in building and maintaining AMI and container images.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Ability to work in a mixed skill set team.
- Familiarity with agile or DevOps methodologies.
