Summary: The Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure/Kubernetes) role is a 6-month contract position that may convert to a permanent role, requiring strong expertise in Azure and Kubernetes. The candidate must possess excellent communication skills and be capable of troubleshooting complex issues. The position is primarily remote but requires monthly on-site presence in Lakeland, FL. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development team to enhance cloud infrastructure.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines.

Interview process: 3 steps:
1 - Intro meeting (virtual) with hiring manager and Director
2 - Technical interview with the team and members of dev team
3 - final stage, on-site - deeper dive into culture and team fit.
Best C2C Rate: $60/hr on C2C
They need to be within driving distance to Lakeland, FL (between Tampa and Orlando). They will need to be on-site at least 1x per month. They need to have very strong communication and collaboration skills. And, they need to be a very good troubleshooter (someone who can see the big picture and work through any issue to find solutions, especially if they are not "textbook solutions").
Must-Haves
- 9+ years of DevOps / Systems Engineering experience with cloud infrastructure.
- Deep expertise in Azure & Kubernetes (AKS).
- Infrastructure as Code with Terraform (CloudFormation/ARM a plus).
- Strong CI/CD pipeline experience (GitHub, Octopus Deploy, TeamCity, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting.
- Proven troubleshooting ability across complex, distributed systems. (and Excellent Communication Skills)
