Summary: The Senior DDI Engineer will be a key member of the Network Reliability Engineering team, specializing in the design and implementation of advanced DNS, DHCP, and IPAM solutions for Marriott International's diverse network environments. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in DDI technologies and will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of network services across various platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of both on-premise and cloud-based DDI solutions. The position is remote and classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop network solutions utilizing DDI expertise in mission critical networks.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot DDI appliance technologies from industry leading vendors.
  • Configure SaaS based DDI solutions from AWS, Azure and other cloud providers.
  • Implement DNS security policies and DNS resolution policies.
  • Configure and troubleshoot DNS zones and perform zone transfers.
  • Manage and configure DHCP scopes and options across multiple environments.
  • Audit, design and implement efficient IP address management techniques including subnetting and supernetting.
  • Integrate DDI solutions with other network management and monitoring tools.
  • Design and develop scripts for automating DNS, DHCP, and IPAM tasks.
  • Resolve complex networking issues related to DDI protocols.
  • Design and implement NTP solutions for data centers and Cloud service providers.
  • Develop, document, and manage the requirements gathering process and provide detailed design and implementation plans.
  • Field experience and knowledge of foundational data networking and IP technologies.
  • Experience with one or more Cloud Computing platforms.

  • 7+ years' experience in DDI technologies.
  • Expertise in DDI appliance technologies (Infoblox, BlueCat, EfficientIP).

The Senior DDI Engineer for DDI (DNS/DHCP/IPAM) team, will be part of Network Reliability Engineering (NRE) project engineering team. The right candidate will be subject matter expert in designing and implementing next-gen DNS, DHCP and IPAM solutions across Marriott International networks serving the requirements of Property Networks, Datacenter/Cloud Networks, and Corporate Networks.

  • 7+ years' experience in developing network solutions utilizing DDI expertise in mission critical networks.
  • Experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting of DDI appliance technologies from industry leading vendors (Infoblox, BlueCat, EfficientIP etc)
  • Experience in configuring SaaS based DDI solutions from AWS, Azure and other cloud providers
