Rate: £585/day (Inside IR35)
Location: Remote (Occasional travel to Newcastle)

About the Role
Join a multidisciplinary analytics team leading the development of advanced analytics, Machine Learning, and AI solutions to support decision-making across Later Life Services.
You will partner with Service Delivery, Digital, and Transformation teams to turn complex datasets into actionable insights that directly improve services for citizens.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Development: Lead the design and implementation of advanced analytics, ML, and AI models to solve complex business challenges.
- Data Exploration: Interrogate large, intricate datasets to identify opportunities for service improvement and deliver evidence-based recommendations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships across multidisciplinary teams, translating complex technical analysis into clear strategic insights for senior stakeholders.
- Strategic Advice: Help non-technical leaders understand both the high-value opportunities and practical limitations of data science.
Key Requirements
- Security Clearance: Must hold active SC Clearance (or be fully eligible and willing to undergo the clearance process prior to start).
- Technical Expertise: Proven track record as a Senior Data Scientist delivering end-to-end ML/AI solutions and working with large, complex datasets.
- Communication: Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and bridge the gap between technical models and strategic business outcomes.
