Summary: The Senior Data Engineer role at a leading Global MediaTech company involves working on high-impact fraud and risk analytics across various financial products. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain data pipelines using SQL and Python.
- Lead data engineering projects from inception to completion.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across product, engineering, and data science teams.
- Create and manage dashboards using Tableau or similar tools.
- Analyze and address fraud and risk analytics for financial products.
Key Skills:
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering.
- Advanced SQL and solid Python skills.
- Strong data modeling capabilities.
- Experience in managing projects end-to-end.
- Proven experience with Tableau or similar dashboard tools.
Salary (Rate): £115,000.00 yearly

Contract: 9-Month contract - to start ASAP ( max 4 weeks notice – the start date is to be the beginning of August 2025 ) – with a strong possibility of extension
Salary: £105k to £115k basic + benefits (PAYE, paid weekly, within IR35 )
Location : Fully remote WITHIN the London / South East UK regions
You must be fully clear to work in the UK – no relocation/sponsorship
I’m recruiting for an experienced Senior Data Engineer for a recognised and leading Global MediaTech business, where you’ll be working on high-impact fraud and risk analytics across multiple financial products on their platforms.
You’ll have a relevant background in fraud, risk, and ideally transaction-heavy platforms (think PayPal, Google, Amazon, etc) . – Without this you cannot be considered; please understand this before you apply
Key requirements:
- 8+ years’ experience in data engineering
- Advanced SQL and solid Python (for pipelines)
- Strong data modelling and experience owning projects end-to-end
- Confident working with stakeholders across product, engineering, and data science
- Proven experience with Tableau or similar dashboards
