Summary: We are looking for a Senior Analytic Data Engineer to enhance our technical team, focusing on the design, development, and maintenance of data infrastructure for Hedis. This remote role requires expertise in data and ETL architecture, cloud-based platforms, and programming in Python/PySpark, along with experience in reporting tools like Power BI. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering solutions and a comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Hedis experience is a significant advantage for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain organizational data and programming infrastructure for Hedis.
- Establish and maintain efficient and reliable data flow across diverse systems for regulatory reporting.
- Utilize cloud-based data platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform with Databricks/Apache Spark.
- Implement advanced data engineering solutions leveraging full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience.
- Translate requirements, design mockups, prototypes, or user stories into technical designs.
- Develop fault-tolerant, efficient, and maintainable data-related code.
Key Skills:
- 3 years of experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools (e.g., Apache Spark, Google Cloud Platform Tools, Databricks, PySpark).
- 3 years of experience building ETL and Data Integration pipelines in Python, PySpark; knowledge of Informatica is a plus.
- 3 years of experience with reporting tools like Power BI & Tableau (Power BI preferred).
- 3 years of experience working with On-Prem databases like Oracle, Teradata, and DB2.
- 3 years of experience with Cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform and Azure) and their respective data services.
- 3 years of deep SQL experience & Unix experience.
- 3 years of experience designing solutions or developing data solutions in healthcare; Hedis experience is a big plus.
- 3 years of experience with data-related code that is fault-tolerant, efficient, and maintainable.
