Summary: The Senior Data Engineer role requires a highly skilled individual with extensive experience in AWS Glue, PySpark, Python, and healthcare EMR systems. The candidate must be proficient in SQL and have a strong background in ETL development. This position is fully remote and requires the ability to articulate and perform effectively in a high-activity environment. Immediate availability is preferred for this engagement lasting over two years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain complex ETL processes for data integration, transformation, and loading across multiple systems.
- Work collaboratively within a dynamic environment while also being able to work independently.
- Engage in high-level discussions and perform on camera with heavy SLACK activity.
- Utilize AWS Redshift, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Git, AWS Glue, Spark, and Python in daily tasks.

- 12+ years of development experience.
- 5+ years of SQL Server experience.
- 5+ years of PySpark experience.
- 4+ years of AWS Cloud technology experience, specifically with Glue and Step Functions.
