Summary: The role of Senior Data Engineer involves managing the entire data platform for an iGaming company on a 6-month contract basis. The engineer will be responsible for data ingestion, modeling, orchestration, and governance, ensuring the creation of reliable data pipelines and analytics capabilities. This position is fully remote and offers a competitive daily rate. The ideal candidate will have experience with various data technologies, including AWS and GCP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the data platform end to end, from ingestion and modeling to orchestration, observability, and governance.
- Design and build robust, reliable data pipelines.
- Evolve lakehouse/warehouse layers to enable fast, trustworthy analytics for multiple teams.
Key Skills:
- Experience with AWS technologies including S3, Redshift, Athena, and Glue.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Familiarity with GCP BigQuery, Snowflake, Airflow, and dbt.

We're partnered with an exciting iGaming company who are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to support on an initial 6 Month Contract engagement. You will own their data platform end to end, from ingestion & modelling to orchestration, observability & governance. You'll be responsible for designing & building robust, reliable pipelines, evolving their lakehouse/warehouse layers & enable fast, trustworthy analytics for multiple teams.
