We're looking for a Senior Data Engineer for a public sector organisation based remotely on an initial 6 months contract, paying from £900 per day (Inside IR35).
This is a remote role.
The successful Senior Data Engineer will design and build data products and services, and integrate them into operational systems and business processes.
You'll lead the implementation of data flows that connect operational systems to analytics and BI, set up the data connectors and foundations that underpin AI workloads, and build resilient streaming and integration services.
You'll also optimise code and processes for performance and lead on database management.
You will need proven experience working with the following:
Data engineering at scale, building complex data products and services
Designing and implementing data flows across operational, analytics and BI systems
AI data connectors, integrations and data foundations management
Selecting and implementing scalable, future-proofed data technologies
Database management, and diagnosing and resolving issues in data pipelines and services
You'll also need to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders and work within a multidisciplinary team.
You'll need to hold or be eligible to obtain SC clearance for this role.
