Summary: The Senior Data Engineer role involves a short-term contract focused on optimizing a client's data infrastructure for a US-based consultancy. Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement a unified, automated reporting platform using Power BI.
- Consolidate existing manual reports into a streamlined data infrastructure.
- Utilize Microsoft Azure for hosting and deploying data infrastructure.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data warehouse solutions using Snowflake.
- Manage Snowflake infrastructure as code with OpenTofu.
- Transform and model data within Snowflake using DBT to create reportable datasets.
- Build dynamic, automated reports with Power BI.
Key Skills:
- Experience with Microsoft Azure for cloud infrastructure.
- Proficiency in GitHub for repository hosting and CI/CD pipelines.
- Expertise in Snowflake for data warehousing.
- Knowledge of OpenTofu for infrastructure management.
- Experience with DBT for data transformation and modeling.
- Proficiency in Power BI for report generation.
- Desirable experience with integrating platforms like Sera CRM, Five9, and QuickBooks Online into Snowflake.
