Job Overview

We're looking for a skilled and proactive data engineer with deep hands-on experience in AWS and modern data architecture. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can work independently, and is passionate about building scalable data solutions.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Core Technical Skills:

Proven, practical experience working with AWS (beyond just certifications).

Strong knowledge of key AWS services like Glue, Redshift, Lambda, Kinesis, CloudWatch, and Firehose.

Expertise in PySpark and SQL, with a solid understanding of data lake architecture-experience with Apache Iceberg is a big plus.

Ability to analyze and modernize complex legacy SQL logic.

Execution & Leadership:

Self-motivated and capable of leading projects with minimal oversight.

Excellent organizational skills and a strong focus on delivering results.

Bonus Points For:

Experience migrating traditional stored procedures to cloud-native data pipelines.

Background in modernizing legacy data infrastructure.

Soft Skills That Matter:

Clear and confident communicator-comfortable asking questions and seeking clarity when needed.

Able to participate effectively in standups and technical discussions.
