Summary: The Senior Data Analyst - SAP Finance role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into analytical questions and define success metrics. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to frame problems, translate business needs into analytical questions, and define success metrics.
- Organize data into different data structures to solve business questions.
- Perform data analysis, transformation, cleansing and calculations on business data using Dataiku.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and ad hoc analyses using Power BI.
- Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities in datasets to inform decision-making.
- Perform data profiling and ensure data quality, completeness, and trustworthiness.
- Work closely with data stewards to ensure data definitions and standards are applied across domain.
- Maintain documentation of datasets, business rules, and KPIs to enable reuse and transparency.
- Adopt and promote the use of standardized datasets, tools, and visualization patterns established by the Analytics Center of Excellence.
- Actively participate in domain working groups and Communities of Practice to share learnings and drive analytic maturity.
Key Skills:
- 7+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Proficiency in SQL and one or more BI tools - Power BI, etc.
- Proficient understanding of SAP S/4 HANA modules including underlying tables
- FI, SD, MM, CO, PP, QM.
- Ability to work with large datasets and perform complex joins, aggregations, and transformations.
- Strong critical thinking, data storytelling, and communication skills.
- Experience working with business stakeholders to deliver insights aligned with KPIs and strategy.
