Senior Data Analyst

Summary: The Senior Data Analyst role requires extensive experience in business analysis, particularly within the pharmaceutical sector, and proficiency in various data engineering methodologies. The candidate will be responsible for delivering high-impact analytics solutions and collaborating with multiple teams to meet data-related needs. Strong skills in SQL, Python, and BI tools like Tableau are essential for success in this position. The role offers flexibility in working arrangements, either remotely or from Tampa, Florida.

Key Responsibilities:

• 15 + years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Proven experience in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience in data engineering, software engineering, or related roles.
• Experience building reports and analyses in BI/visualization software - Tableau.
• Experience in pharmaceutical commercial analytics is a must with know-how of common data-sets like IQVIA, Symphony.
• Experience with data modeling tool DBT.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, or Scala.
• Experience in design and review of new solution concepts and leading the delivery of high-impact analytics solutions and programs for global clients.
• Experience using Tableau, Looker, or similar tools to create dashboards and report insights.
• Experience working with Finance, HR, and IT teams to support data-related needs.
• Experience with Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
• Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
• Experience with data warehousing, data lake, and lakehouse architectures.
• Extensive experience implementing data modeling principles.
• Experience in the complete life cycle of data warehouse projects, including functional/technical design, coding, testing deploying to production, and monitoring.
