Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with data modelers to design conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned with IBM UDMH.
- Develop source-to-target mapping and data lineage documentation.
- Extend IBM UDMH models to meet custom healthcare data requirements.
- Conduct detailed data profiling across systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athena, and Oracle FDI.
- Assess data quality, granularity, completeness, and frequency.
- Identify gaps, anomalies, and improvement areas in data integration and flow.
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and define subject-area models.
- Ensure adherence to data modeling standards, governance protocols, and naming conventions.
- Maintain and document metadata consistently.
- Use ER/Studio, ERwin, or PowerDesigner for data modeling.
- Perform ETL scripting and transformation using SQL, Python, and Unix.
- Leverage modern data platforms such as Snowflake, Hadoop, Spark, and Cloud (AWS/Azure) environments.
