Summary: We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our analytics team, focusing on extracting insights from data to support decision-making. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders, executing complex data analysis projects, and developing data visualizations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data analysis and a strong understanding of statistical methods and tools. This position is remote or based in Dallas, Texas, and is outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with business stakeholders across departments to understand their data needs and challenges.
- Design and execute complex data analysis projects, utilizing statistical methods and data analysis tools (SQL, Python, R) to extract valuable insights.
- Clean, transform, and prepare data from various sources (databases, APIs, flat files) to ensure data quality and consistency.
- Develop and maintain robust data pipelines to automate data collection and analysis processes (Preferred).
- Develop and present compelling data visualizations (charts, dashboards) using data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) to communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within the data to uncover actionable insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Develop and document data analysis methodologies and best practices for future reference.
- Collaborate with data engineers to ensure smooth data integration and infrastructure support.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest data analysis trends and technologies, and continuously seek opportunities to improve data-driven processes within the organization.
- Mentor and guide junior data analysts within the team (Preferred).
Key Skills:
- 6+ years of demonstrably successful experience as a Data Analyst or a related role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for uncovering insights from data.
- In-depth knowledge of data analysis methodologies and statistical techniques.
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Working experience with data analysis programming languages (Python, R) (Preferred).
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) to create clear and informative visualizations.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- Ability to translate complex data findings into actionable recommendations for business stakeholders.
- A strong work ethic with a commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.
