Summary: The Senior Data & AI Engineer role involves leading engineering teams in the design and delivery of data pipelines and AI services while providing technical leadership and ensuring code quality. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and delivery of data pipelines, AI services, and agentic AI applications.
- Provide technical leadership through architecture reviews, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Ensure code quality, testing standards, and production readiness.
- Collaborate with AI Architects and Data Architects on solution design.
- Participate in client meetings, technical workshops, demos, and design discussions.
- Identify and resolve technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and reliability issues.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through coaching and knowledge sharing.
Key Skills:
- 4–8 years of Software Engineering or Data Engineering experience.
- 1–2+ years of Technical Lead or Senior Engineer experience.
- Strong Python development skills with FastAPI, Async Programming, Testing, and Production Deployment.
- Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LLM Agents, and RAG architectures.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, Data Modeling, ETL/Data Pipelines, and Cloud Data Platforms.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
