The Opportunity
We’re working with a well-established civil engineering consultancy seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to support a growing pipeline of infrastructure design work. This is a fully remote contract role, ideal for someone confident delivering technical design independently and managing projects through to approval.
Project Work
You’ll be working primarily on large-scale commercial, industrial, and education schemes, focusing on the infrastructure that supports these developments, including:
- Private roads
- Drainage networks
- External works infrastructure
Scope of Work
- SuDS Strategies
- Drainage design (foul & surface water)
- Estate road / highway design
- S104, S38 & S278 technical approvals
- Supporting projects from feasibility through to detailed design
Software
- Civils 3D
- InfoDrainage
- (Experience in both is essential)

About You
- Proven experience in infrastructure/drainage design
- Strong background delivering commercial or large-scale development projects
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Experience liaising with local authorities and stakeholders
