Key Responsibilities:
- Flood Risk Assessments (FRA)
- Drainage design (surface & foul water)
- Levels strategy and earthworks coordination
- Supporting the BREEAM assessment (POL 03 – Surface Water Run-off)
- Coordinating services and infrastructure layouts on drawings
- Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver compliant, buildable designs
Key Skills:
- Strong experience within UK civil engineering consultancy
- Proven background delivering infrastructure design on complex developments
- Experience producing Flood Risk Assessments and drainage strategies
- Understanding of BREEAM, particularly POL 03, is highly desirable
- Comfortable working remotely and managing your own workload
- MicroDrainage / InfoDrainage (essential)
- Civils 3D (beneficial not essential)
- AutoCAD

A leading engineering consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Civil Engineer on a contract basis to support a growing portfolio of data centre projects.
This is a fully remote role, offering long-term stability and the opportunity to work on technically complex, large-scale developments.
The Role
You’ll play a key role in delivering civil engineering design across multiple data centre schemes, with a strong focus on drainage, levels and environmental compliance.
Responsibilities include:
- Flood Risk Assessments (FRA)
- Drainage design (surface & foul water)
- Levels strategy and earthworks coordination
- Supporting the BREEAM assessment (POL 03 – Surface Water Run-off)
- Coordinating services and infrastructure layouts on drawings
- Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver compliant, buildable designs
Software

About You
Strong experience within UK civil engineering consultancy
