Summary: The Senior Channel Sales Manager will lead the growth of the solar photovoltaic (PV) business in the UK/IR market by developing and executing strategic sales initiatives. This role requires building and maintaining strong relationships with key channel partners and distributors while identifying new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in channel management within the solar PV sector and a robust understanding of the UK market. Exceptional negotiation and communication skills are essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Devise and execute comprehensive sales strategies to expand the solar PV business footprint in the UK market.
  • Manage and cultivate relationships with key channel partners, distributors, and large clients in the UK solar PV sector.
  • Identify and onboard new channel partners to enhance market presence and expand the distribution network.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to clients.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging opportunities and provide actionable insights to senior management.
  • Set clear sales targets and performance metrics, monitoring and analyzing sales performance regularly.
  • Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to senior management.

Key Skills:

  • Proven track record in channel management, preferably in the renewable energy or solar PV industry.
  • Demonstrated success in managing large key accounts in the UK solar PV market.
  • Established network of UK-based channel partners and clients in the solar PV sector.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK as required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are desirable.
