Senior C++ Trading Software Developer/Remote

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior C++ Trading Software Developer to design, develop, and optimize high-performance trading systems and applications. The ideal candidate will have strong C++ programming skills and experience working with financial markets, trading platforms, or low-latency systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance trading applications using C++.
• Build and optimize low-latency, high-throughput trading systems.
• Develop market data processing, order management, and execution components.
• Work closely with traders, quantitative developers, and technology teams.
• Analyze and resolve performance, scalability, and production issues.
• Implement robust, reliable, and scalable software solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Contribute to system architecture and technical design decisions.
• Monitor and improve system latency, reliability, and overall performance.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in C++, preferably C++11/14/17 or newer.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and STL.
• Experience with multithreading, concurrency, memory management, and performance optimization.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.
• Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design.
• Experience with networking, TCP/IP, sockets, or distributed systems.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Trading / Financial Markets Experience

• Experience with electronic trading, capital markets, or financial technology.
• Understanding of market data, order books, order execution, and trading workflows.
• Experience with exchange connectivity or trading protocols such as FIX is preferred.
• Knowledge of low-latency/high-frequency trading environments is a strong advantage.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with low-latency or high-performance computing.
• Knowledge of Python or scripting languages.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools.
• Familiarity with exchange APIs and market data feeds.
• Experience with profiling and performance-analysis tools.
