Summary: The role of Senior C# Developer involves working with a fintech company to implement and integrate authentication products, focusing on building scalable services and secure APIs. This contract position is remote-based in the UK, with a potential extension after an initial three-month period. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in software development, particularly with C# and modern methodologies, and will contribute to a small, agile team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and integrate authentication products (Okta and OAuth).
  • Build scalable services and secure APIs.
  • Participate in the entire project lifecycle from investigation to implementation.
  • Write fully unit and integration tested code following Microsoft’s C# coding conventions.
  • Integrate third-party APIs with machine-to-machine authentication.
  • Collaborate with a small team of engineers in an agile environment.

Key Skills:

  • Strong development skills in C#/.NET, with experience in Blazor and/or C# Web API.
  • Experience with identity workflows, specifically Okta/Auth0.
  • Cloud development experience.
  • Experience with SQL Server.
  • Ability to write code that meets testing and coding standards.
  • Significant professional software development experience.

Salary (Rate): £68.00/hr

Senior C# Developer (Contract) | Authenticiation Integration | Remote (UK) | up to £550 per day

We’re working with a fast-paced fintech company looking for a Senior C# Developer to join their agile team for an initial 3 -month contract (Outside IR35 - potential extension) You’ll be playing a key role in implementing and integration of authentication products (Okta and 0Auth), building scalable services and secure APIs. If you enjoy solving complex problems and building tools that make an operational impact, this is a great opportunity to work at the heart of an innovative platform. This is a small team of engineers and as much as it is a contract there is a big focus on team focus.

Significant professional software development experience and experience of modern software development methodologies. Strong development skills in C#/.NET: Blazor and/or C# Web API experience required. Experience of carrying out whole project lifecycle from investigation, design, and implementation. Strong experience in identity workflows - specifically Okta/Auth0 - and integrating it into C# applications. Experience integrating with third party APIs with machine to machine authentication. Writes code which is fully unit and integration tested, with dependency injection and meets Microsoft’s C# coding conventions. Cloud development experience SQL Server

Work setup: Remote-first with optional visits to offices in Cambridge or London Flexible if you'd like occasional time onsite with the team

Start: ASAP

Location: UK-based, remote with occassional visits to Cambridge (once a month maybe)

Contract: 3 months, Outside IR35
