Summary: The Lead WIC Business Analyst (BA) is responsible for guiding a team in the planning, assessment, and documentation of requirements for the WIC MIS system. This role involves creating and implementing project plans, tracking milestones, and managing project risks while collaborating with both technical and non-technical staff. The Lead BA also analyzes complex processes and coordinates the development of requirements documentation. This position operates under limited supervision, allowing for significant initiative and independent judgment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day direction to assigned staff and collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Create and implement project plans that include business and gap analysis for the WIC MIS system.
  • Track and report on project milestones, managing and escalating risks and issues.
  • Guide the team in reviewing the WIC MIS system and analyzing complex technical and business processes.
  • Coordinate the gathering, development, and documentation of requirements.

Job Description:

the Lead WIC Business Analyst (BA) provides day-to-day direction to assigned staff and works closely with both technical and non-technical staff to plan, assess and document requirements. The Lead BA is responsible for creating and implementing a project plan that includes business and gap analysis work that supports the WIC MIS system and results in system requirement documentation. Responsibilities include tracking and reporting on project milestones; identifying, managing, and escalating project risks and issues; and leading team members, as well as technical and non-technical subject matter experts to deliver project objectives. The Lead BA guides the team in reviewing the WIC MIS system; analyzing complex technical and business processes, prioritizing needs; and coordinates the gathering, development, and documentation of requirements. This position works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for initiative and independent judgment.
