Summary: The role is for a Senior Business Analyst working on a project for an insurance sector client, focusing on collaboration with a software development team. The position requires strong business process understanding and excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between business and technical teams. The candidate will be responsible for creating tickets, gathering requirements, and driving projects in an Agile environment. This is a fully remote position with a contract length of 12 months, outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with a software development team on various products.
- Create tickets and gather requirements for project management.
- Drive projects hands-on while managing multiple priorities.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and user stories.
- Utilize Agile methodologies and modern project management tools like Azure DevOps or Jira.
- Understand the SDLC, delivery pipelines, QA processes, and technical constraints.
- Familiarity with modern web and software technologies, APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS).
- Experience in the insurance industry, particularly automotive claims, or other regulated/data-sensitive industries.
Key Skills:
- Strong understanding of business processes.
- Excellent communication skills, especially in translating between business and technical language.
- Ability to write high-quality user stories, specifications, and acceptance criteria.
