Summary: The role of Senior Business Analyst - CRM at VFX involves leading the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM while migrating from Salesforce. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead structured discovery sessions with internal stakeholders to define CRM requirements clearly and objectively.
  • Analyse current-state processes and design future-state workflows aligned to best practice and VFX’s ways of working.
  • Produce clear functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation.
  • Translate business requirements into solution design inputs for internal technical teams and implementation partners.
  • Support evaluation of solution options to ensure alignment with business, regulatory, and data requirements.
  • Help define CRM standards, including workflows, field structures, permissions, and governance.
  • Support the Salesforce-to-Dynamics migration, including data mapping, cleansing, validation, and migration testing.
  • Contribute to workshops, UAT, and solution walkthroughs to validate the CRM against agreed requirements.
  • Review delivery artefacts and proactively identify gaps, ambiguities, or risks.
  • Work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, Compliance, and Operations to prioritise requirements and maintain alignment.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and decisions clearly and professionally.
  • Support training materials, documentation, and change-management activity.
  • Define test scenarios and contribute to UAT cycles, documenting outcomes and issues.
  • Ensure feedback is captured, structured, and addressed appropriately.
  • Support strong adoption through clear documentation and stakeholder involvement.

Key Skills:

  • 3–5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst or consultant, ideally within CRM, digital transformation, or operational systems.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Sales) or another enterprise CRM.
  • Proven experience supporting system migrations, ideally involving CRM transitions.
  • Solid understanding of CRM data models, workflows, automation, and user roles.
  • Familiarity with lead management and sales operations processes.
  • Comfortable operating in environments with evolving requirements and multiple cross-team dependencies.
  • Confident working autonomously while collaborating closely with internal teams.

About the Role We are seeking a Contract Senior Business Analyst (3-6 months) to help shape, define and support the delivery of our new Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and the migration away from Salesforce. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Technology, and Compliance to ensure the CRM supports efficient lead management, clean data flows, and scalable operational workflows. This role is well suited to an experienced contractor who enjoys owning workstreams, bringing structure to ambiguity, and delivering core systems during periods of rapid change and growth. The engagement is delivery-focused, with clear outcomes and close collaboration across the business. This role is offered on a contract basis and can be performed fully remotely from the UK . Occasional travel to our London office may be required on occasion.
