Summary: We are seeking a Senior BMC Helix Consultant to enhance our enterprise ITSM solutions, focusing on design, development, and maintenance. This role requires extensive experience with BMC Helix Digital Workplace and ITSM tools, aimed at improving service management capabilities. The position is remote and offers an opportunity to work with a globally managed IT services partner. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in enterprise ITSM implementations and integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain BMC Remedy workflows, forms, reports, dashboards, Developer Studio, Innovation Suite, and DWP Catalog.
- Develop and maintain BMC Helix Business Workflows and Digital Workplace solutions.
- Lead architecture, configuration, and deployment of BMC Helix solutions.
- Design and implement integrations with enterprise systems (e.g., identity management, service desks).
- Troubleshoot complex issues across the full technology stack (application, database, network, OS, client).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable, maintainable solutions.
- Develop custom utilities and enhancements to extend BMC Helix capabilities.
- Provide mentorship and knowledge transfer to internal teams.
- Participate in beta testing, early access programs, and community engagement initiatives.
Key Skills:
- 3+ years of BMC Helix/Remedy development experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with BMC Remedy/Helix platforms.
- Proven track record in enterprise ITSM implementations and integrations.
- Strong knowledge of BMC Remedy ITSM architecture, data model, workflows, and forms.
- Experience with BMC Digital Workplace and Business Workflows.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting across application, database, and infrastructure layers.
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes and service management best practices.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work well within a team.
- Experience with BMC Innovation Studio and familiarity with BMC Remedy ITSM integrations.
- REST API experience is a big plus.
