Summary: The Senior Backend Engineer role focuses on designing and building API solutions using Kotlin, with responsibilities including performance optimization and supporting data storage solutions. Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build Back End features using Kotlin
• Supporting component design, development and maintenance, taking personal responsibility for technical quality standards within the project team
• Assisting with defining structured practices, particularly in the areas of source code management, execution and deployment
• Designing and supporting data storage solutions
• Optimising performance in applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Using appropriate tools to maintain version control and build processes
• Gathering feedback and building solutions to mitigate potential problems
• Assisting with the analysis of client requirements
• Working with, and supporting, the delivery architect (team lead) in project execution to achieve timely delivery
