Summary: The role of Senior Backend Engineer Contractor involves designing and building robust backend services using Java, Python, and Rust, with a preference for candidates familiar with Ruby. This fully remote position is aimed at experienced professionals who can contribute to a tech-driven team at a global scale. The contractor will engage in performance optimization and collaborate with product and platform teams to enhance critical infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and building robust backend services across Java, Python, and Rust-based systems
• Collaborating with product and platform teams to scale critical infrastructure
