Summary: The role of Senior AWS Developer involves developing and maintaining infrastructure and services for clients on the AWS cloud platform within the media and video on demand sector. This position is fully remote and is offered as an initial 6-month contract. The candidate will utilize skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, and NodeJS, among other AWS technologies. The role is classified as outside IR35, offering a competitive daily rate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain infrastructure and services for clients based on the AWS cloud platform.
  • Utilize JavaScript, TypeScript, and NodeJS in development tasks.
  • Implement AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, and RDBMS.
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines and version control using Git.
  • Work with AWS Media Services and other related technologies.

Key Skills:

  • Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and NodeJS.
  • Experience with AWS services including Lambda, DynamoDB, and RDBMS (Postgres and MySQL).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Git.
  • Familiarity with CloudFormation and AWS Media Services.
  • AWS Certified Developer/Solution Architect qualification is desirable.

Salary (Rate): £50.00/hr

Senior AWS / JavaScript / TypeScript / NodeJS Developer TV / Media / Video on Demand £400pd Outside IR35 Fully Remote Initial 6 month contract My media cloud services provider works with some of the leading names in the industry and is looking for a Senior AWS Developer to join them on an initial 6 month contract You will be responsible for developing and maintaining infrastructure and services for their clients based upon the AWS cloud platform

Required Skills:

  • JavaScript/TypeScript/NodeJS
  • Lambda
  • DynamoDB
  • RDBMS (Postgres and MySQL ideally)
  • Step Functions
  • SQS, SNS, S3, CloudWatch, API Gateway, IAM, etc.
  • Git, CI/CD pipelines, etc.
  • Cloudformation

Desirable:

  • AWS Media Services (MediaConvert, MediaLive, MediaPackage etc)
