Summary: The Senior Automation Tester will join a dynamic Engineering team, focusing on building high-quality, scalable software solutions. This role involves developing automated test frameworks and ensuring software quality through advanced testing practices. The position is fully remote with occasional visits to the Cheshire site and has a contract duration of 6 months with possible renewals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain automated test frameworks using tools like Nightwatch, Selenium, or similar.
  • Create and execute automated test scripts that align with changing requirements.
  • Conduct API testing with tools such as Postman, and validate data using SQL queries.
  • Collaborate with engineering and business teams to ensure test coverage aligns with business goals.
  • Continuously improve testing methodologies and contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions.

Key Skills:

  • Experience in automated testing and framework development.
  • Solid understanding of SQL, JavaScript, and version control (eg Git).
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and suggest improvements.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Experience with Azure.
  • ISTQB certification or equivalent is highly desirable.

Role Purpose
We're looking for a Senior Automation Tester to join our clients dynamic Engineering team. You'll play a key role in building high-quality, scalable software solutions and help deliver reliable, high-performing software products through advanced testing practices and robust automation frameworks.

About the Role
You'll play a key role in building and maintaining automated test solutions to support continuous delivery. Working closely with developers, testers, and business stakeholders, you'll ensure that software changes meet high quality standards from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
