Summary: We are looking for a Senior Atlassian Specialist to oversee the configuration and optimization of Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence. The role requires extensive experience in enterprise tool administration and process automation, with a focus on Agile and ITSM workflows. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for integrating these tools with other DevOps applications and providing user support and training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage Atlassian product suite: Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.
- Design, configure, and optimize Jira workflows, schemes, permissions, and custom fields for multiple teams and business units.
- Lead Atlassian upgrades, performance tuning, user management, and license optimization.
- Implement best practices around Agile, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and ITIL frameworks within Jira and Confluence.
- Create dashboards, advanced filters, and reports for stakeholders, leadership, and development teams.
- Integrate Atlassian tools with CI/CD pipelines and third-party applications like Slack, GitHub, Jenkins, ServiceNow, Opsgenie, etc.
- Develop and maintain automation rules using Jira Automation, Scriptrunner, or other add-ons.
- Work closely with Product, DevOps, QA, and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable Atlassian solutions.
- Provide user training, documentation, and tier-3 support for Atlassian-related issues.
Key Skills:
- 6+ years of experience managing and administering Atlassian products in a large enterprise environment.
- Expertise in configuring Jira and Confluence, including custom workflows, issue types, schemes, permissions, and post functions.
- Strong scripting experience using Groovy (ScriptRunner), Jira REST API, or Automation for Jira.
- Experience integrating Atlassian tools with DevOps pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket, or GitHub.
- Familiarity with Atlassian Cloud and Data Center deployment models.
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum/ITSM practices and how to implement them in Jira.
