Senior ArcGIS Enterprise Automation Engineer

Summary: The Senior ArcGIS Enterprise Automation Engineer is responsible for administering and supporting Esri ArcGIS Enterprise environments while developing automation solutions using Python and PowerShell. The role involves automating various processes related to ArcGIS, including patch management, user governance, and content lifecycle management. This position is fully remote and requires expertise in ArcGIS technologies and scripting. The salary is dependent on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and support Esri ArcGIS Enterprise environments, including Portal for Esri ArcGIS, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Data Store, and ArcGIS Pro.
• Develop automation solutions using ArcGIS API for Python, Python scripting, and PowerShell.
• Automate ArcGIS Enterprise patch discovery, security patch deployment, and upgrade processes.
• Design and implement ArcGIS Pro silent installation and patching automation workflows.
• Develop scripts for user governance, including inactive/orphan user identification, external user compliance, and access reviews.
• Generate and automate user type, license utilization, and compliance reporting across ArcGIS environments.
• Automate content lifecycle management, including dependency analysis, content cleanup, and QA-to-Production content promotion.
• Develop integration.
