Summary: The Senior Application Developer will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing a client-based CMS, ensuring system integrity and compliance with judicial policies. This role involves troubleshooting, developing SQL queries, and supporting integrations with various systems while collaborating with multiple stakeholders. The position requires extensive experience in application development and a strong understanding of judicial environments. The role is primarily remote, with potential ties to South Carolina.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and support the client based CMS, troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide escalation support.
- Design, develop, and implement enhancements within the client's model, modifying business rules, screens, workflows, batch processes, and reports.
- Work within the development environment to update objects, functions, relationships, regenerate components, and maintain model integrity.
- Write and optimize SQL Server (T-SQL) queries, stored procedures, and data fixes, ensuring accuracy and performance for large datasets.
- Support integrations with law enforcement, eDisposition, eCitation systems, Public Index, and eFiling platforms, adapting legacy I/O to APIs.
- Develop queries, extracts, and data feeds into the Data Warehouse, collaborating with analytics teams for consistency.
- Work closely with Court Administration, IT leadership, and development teams to translate business requirements into CMS updates.
- Document system changes, business rules, and technical processes, assisting in knowledge transfer to staff and modernization teams.
- Ensure compliance with judicial policies and statutory requirements across all updates and enhancements.
- Provide ongoing support for reporting, data integrity, and stakeholder collaboration to sustain system reliability and usability.
Key Skills:
- Experience in judicial, government, or public sector environments.
- Experience with data warehouse architecture (star/snowflake schema), Power BI backend optimization, .NET application data access patterns, Always On Availability Groups, Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with Imperva or similar security appliances.
- Experience cleaning legacy data structures across multiple counties or jurisdictions.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 15+ years of experience with application development.
