Summary: The role of Applications Architect involves designing and implementing solution architecture that aligns with business goals within a fully remote contract for a leading IT Services and Solutions Provider. The position requires collaboration with stakeholders and IT teams to develop comprehensive architectural solutions that support long-term objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Technical Application Architecture, particularly within Azure environments, and a strong background in both pro-code and low-code development. This is a 12-month contract offering a competitive daily rate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement solution architecture aligned with business goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to develop architectural solutions.
- Understand and apply technology strategy to support long-term vision.
- Deliver large-scale transformation programs within the Azure ecosystem.
Key Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience in Technical Application Architecture within Azure environments.
- Proven experience designing applications and providing solutions in the Azure ecosystem.
- Experience delivering large-scale transformation programs (7000+ users).
- Background in both pro-code and low-code development.
- Experience as a Lead Architect or Technical Lead.
- Strong background with SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS applications.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
Salary (Rate): £650 daily

Applications Architect - Fully Remote – 12 Months - Up to £650p/d (Outside of IR35) Leading IT Services and Solutions Provider now requires a skilled Applications Architect to join their Data Solutions Team on a twelve-month fully remote contract! The Application Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing solution architecture, making sure that it aligns with business goals and objectives. The Application Architect will need to understand our technology strategy and collaborate with stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors, to develop comprehensive architectural solutions that support the Audit’s long-term vision. The Application Architect will have the following skills/experience:
- Strong hands-on experience working in Technical Application Architecture within Azure environments
- Proven experience designing applications and providing solutions in the Azure ecosystem and delivering large-scale transformation programs (7000+ users).
- Previously worked in both pro-code and low-code development
- Ideally, previously worked as a Lead Architect or Technical Lead
- Ideally, strong background working with SaaS, PaaS or IaaS applications
- Strong Interpersonal and Stakeholder Management Skills
