- Must have 8+ years of hands-on Senior Android Engineering experience with recent production work, expert-level Kotlin and working knowledge of Java.
- Must have experience assessing, refactoring, and shipping production changes within large, long-lived Android codebases, with strong knowledge of MVVM/MVI, modularization, dependency injection, Jetpack Compose, and legacy Views.
- Must have strong offline-first Android experience, including local persistence, background processing, reliable queueing, sync/conflict resolution, GPS/location services, and Android platform restrictions.
- Must have hands-on experience troubleshooting crashes, ANRs, memory leaks, battery drain, and performance issues, including profiling on lower-powered hardware and experience with managed device fleets/MDM/EMM.
- Must have experience working with rugged Android devices such as Zebra or Honeywell, including familiarity with barcode scanning, signature capture, camera workflows, and field-based applications. Transportation, logistics, freight, or field-service experience is highly preferred.
