Summary: The SEND Quality Assurance Manager will lead and manage the SEND Quality Assurance Framework within a London Local Authority SEND team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality Education, Health and Care (EHC) plans. This role is fully remote and is offered as a 4-month initial contract. The position requires a thorough understanding of SEND regulations and quality assurance processes. The successful candidate will contribute to the continuous improvement of EHC plans and coordinate responses to tribunals and complaints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of EHCPs, focusing on legal compliance, clarity and measurable outcomes.
  • Successfully coordinate work to ensure the timely and effective delivery of tribunals, mediation and complaints responses.
  • Represent the SEN Service in promoting co-production, ensuring that plans reflect the needs and wants of the child or young person with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Key Skills:

  • Thorough knowledge of the Children and Families Act 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice.
  • Proven knowledge of quality assurance frameworks and processes in SEND.
  • A minimum of 2 year's experience working within Local Authority SEND.
  • Ability to prioritise a high-volume workload to meet deadlines.
  • Able to interpret complex information to develop processes for measurable improvement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a SEND Quality Assurance Manager to ensure the delivery of high-quality Education, Health and Care (EHC) plans by leading and managing the SEND Quality Assurance Framework within a London Local Authority SEND team.

Essential Requirements:

  • Thorough knowledge of the Children and Families Act 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice.
  • Proven knowledge of quality assurance frameworks and processes in SEND.
  • A minimum of 2 year's experience working within Local Authority SEND.

Duties include but not limited to:
