Summary: The SEND Project Manager will oversee the planning and management of workstreams related to Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) within a local authority in North West England. This role involves supporting the local authority during the delivery phase of mitigations and establishing projects to enhance service delivery. The position is remote and offers an initial contract of 3-6 months. The role is compensated at £500 per day and is classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish ToRs for each workstream and subsequent task and finish groups.
  • Support the workstream leads by assisting in prioritisation and taking on workload surrounding projects.
  • Drive continuous improvement including cost saving and efficient ways of working whilst ensuring quality provision for children and young people.

Key Skills:

  • Experience in providing support to the SEN Service on key projects within a local authority setting.
  • Strong working knowledge of SEND and experience of setting up and managing projects.
  • Proven ability to analyse and interpret data to support effective project planning and enhance service delivery.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a solution-focused approach.
  • Able to maintain excellent organisational and administrative skills whilst working at a fast pace.
  • Skilled in written and verbal communication, with the ability to engage and build relationships with all stakeholders.

Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a SEND Project Manager who will be responsible for planning, initiating and managing workstreams relating to Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) within a North West local authority.

The SEND Project Manager will support the local authority as they move into the delivery phase of mitigations, setting up projects to provide an infrastructure which will support delivery.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience in providing support to the SEN Service on key projects within a local authority setting.
  • Strong working knowledge of SEND and experience of setting up and managing projects.
  • Proven ability to analyse and interpret data to support effective project planning and enhance service delivery.

Duties include but not limited to:
