Key Responsibilities:
- Build, enhance, and support a robust Java-driven automated regression test framework with a focus on performance and long-term stability.
- Create and run automated test cases for web applications using Selenium-based solutions.
- Work closely with quality assurance, product, and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into high-quality technical outcomes.
- Investigate, diagnose, and fix issues across applications and automation suites in a timely manner.
- Contribute to peer code reviews, testing activities, and technical documentation in line with internal guidelines.
- Stay informed on advancements in Java development, Oracle ecosystems, and test automation tools.
- Apply security, data protection, and regulatory standards in accordance with Oracle and wider industry requirements.
Key Skills:
- At least three years of professional experience working with Java in large-scale or enterprise environments.
- A minimum of two years' experience developing automated web tests using Selenium or similar frameworks.
- Strong background in functional testing methodologies.
- Practical experience with API testing and automation techniques.
- Familiarity with development and CI/CD tools such as Maven, Jenkins, and Git.
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle, including Agile delivery models.
- Proven ability to work proactively, collaborate effectively, and operate independently when required.
- Demonstrated capability to spot inefficiencies in processes and propose practical improvements.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication abilities.
- Holds a valid UK passport.
