Security Test Manager

Summary: The Security Test Manager role involves leading and managing end-to-end testing strategies for cyber security solutions within a leading trading firm. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to define test plans and oversee test execution, ensuring compliance with industry standards. This role is primarily remote with occasional travel required within the UK and offers a flexible rate outside of IR35. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end testing strategies for cyber security solutions, ensuring robust validation of security controls, threat detection mechanisms, and compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including security architects, engineers, and risk analysts to define test plans, penetration testing scopes, and vulnerability assessment criteria.
• Oversee test execution and defect management, ensuring timely resolution of issues and continuous improvement of testing processes in line with evolving cyber threats.
• Drive automation and tooling initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in security testing, while maintaining detailed documentation and reporting for audits and governance.
