Summary: The Security Solutions Designer role is a fully remote contract position focused on designing and implementing security solutions within the financial sector. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in security-focused solutions design and a strong understanding of cyber technologies. This position requires effective communication and relationship management skills to convey security strategies across various organizational levels. The contract is initially for 10 months, with a possibility of extension through to the end of 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implementing and assessing risk against company and external standards.
• Authoring and reviewing designs to enhance security solutions.
• Leading the delivery of secure solution designs and operational implementation.
• Managing relationships and communicating effectively across all organizational levels.
• Utilizing a range of Cyber technologies, including on-prem and cloud solutions.
• Delivering within the Security NIST framework.
• Working in both waterfall and agile environments.
• Understanding and applying design governance.

Key Skills:

• Practical experience in risk assessment and implementation.
• Experience in designing and enhancing security solutions.
• Strong relationship management and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Cyber technologies and Security NIST framework.
• Experience in agile and waterfall project management methodologies.
• Understanding of design governance.
• Bonus: Experience in financial organizations and knowledge of Zero Trust security architectures.
