Summary: The role of Security Engineer focuses on building and automating secure network infrastructure, requiring hands-on expertise with various security tools and practices. The position demands strong experience in network security and incident response within large organizations. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in Infrastructure as Code and scripting for automation tasks. This is a remote position for a duration of 6 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and automate secure network infrastructure.
- Implement and manage network security measures including Firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN, and Zero Trust.
- Utilize Palo Alto (VM-Series), Prisma SASE, and related security tools.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Automate tasks using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Manage IAM, PAM/PIM solutions, and SSL/TLS policy implementation.
- Respond to incidents and troubleshoot security issues.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Security Engineer in large complex organizations.
- Strong experience with network security technologies.
- Hands-on expertise with Palo Alto and related security tools.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Solid understanding of IAM, PAM/PIM solutions, and SSL/TLS policies.
- Experience in incident response and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of cloud security (Azure or GCP) is a plus.
- Experience integrating SIEM platforms is a plus.
- Understanding of Zero Trust architecture and SD-WAN optimization is a plus.
