Summary: The Security Engineer will focus on developing and maintaining security platforms, particularly for cloud applications and pipeline security. This role involves designing, developing, and configuring security tools for the organization while ensuring compliance with security policies and standards. The position requires performing vulnerability testing and risk analyses to enhance security measures across customer-facing environments and corporate systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform vulnerability testing, risk analyses, and security assessments
  • Write security documentation and guidelines
  • Recommend security enhancements and service improvements to drive effective detection, containment, and eradication of security risks
  • Ensure IS policies and procedures are adhered to, including security and technical standards
  • Apply working knowledge of secure development practices and standards
  • Conduct basic threat modeling and dynamic security testing
  • Utilize scripting skills (e.g. Python, Bash, etc.)
  • Manage Azure/AWS security configuration

Key Skills:

  • Experience in vulnerability testing and risk analysis
  • Strong documentation and guideline writing skills
  • Knowledge of security enhancements and service improvements
  • Familiarity with IS policies and technical standards
  • Working knowledge of secure development practices
  • Basic threat modeling and dynamic security testing experience
  • Proficiency in scripting (e.g. Python, Bash)
  • Experience with Azure/AWS security configuration

Salary (Rate): £600 daily

The Security Engineers will be responsible for developing and maintaining our security platforms, with a focus on cloud applications and pipeline security. Work within the security function to design, develop, and configure security tooling to be used across our business. Applying controls both across, and within, our customer-facing environments and corporate infrastructure and systems

6-Month Contract

Fully Remote

Paying unto £600 per day

Responsibilities

  • Perform vulnerability testing, risk analyses, and security assessments
  • Write security documentation and guidelines
  • Recommend security enhancements and service improvement to help drive effective detection, containment and eradication of security risks.
  • Ensure IS policies and procedures are adhered to, including security and technical standards.
  • With working knowledge of secure development practices and standards.
  • Basic Threat Modelling and dynamic security testing experience.
  • Experience with scripting (e.g. python, bash, etc) essential.
  • Experience with Azure/AWS security configuration.
