Summary: Security Cleared Software Assurance Engineers are needed for a major network transformation program, focusing on software assurance rather than hardware. The role requires candidates with SC clearance and a background in Defense or Aerospace, with responsibilities including developing assurance documentation and ensuring compliance throughout the service lifecycle. This position offers fully remote working with potential travel to Hampshire and is expected to last up to 2.5 years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality assurance documentation, including Service Assurance Plans, requirements Traceability logs, evidence logs, and Service Assurance Case Reports.
- Work with clients, architects, and delivery teams to ensure assurance requirements are clearly captured, agreed, and evidenced throughout design, build, transition, and operation.
- Communicate assurance progress and risks effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring expectations are aligned and compliance responsibilities are met.
- Support the development of structured, evidence-based arguments for service and security assurance cases.
- Play a central role in ensuring that managed services meet the safety and performance expectations set by national regulatory authorities.
Key Skills:
- Strong cross-discipline experience in Information Systems, including Information Security and assurance processes.
- Proven background in Information Assurance, Governance, or Service Assurance.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - with the ability to craft clear, persuasive reports and build productive relationships across teams.
- Experience in investigations, report writing, and evidence-based analysis.
- Experience in assurance analysis techniques, FMEA's, FTA's and CCAs.
- Experience supporting transitions from Legacy to managed service environments.
