Summary: The Security Business Analyst role involves a 6-month contract focused on reviewing and enhancing the security posture of a global technology organization. The analyst will assess current processes, identify gaps, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement solutions in areas such as vulnerability management and disaster recovery. This position requires a strong understanding of security concepts, particularly within an AWS ecosystem, and experience in regulated environments. The role is remote and classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and document the "as-is" and "to-be" states for processes, procedures, and technologies.
• Map and re-engineer processes to increase maturity across key areas.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align business needs with technical solutions.
• Drive planning, testing, and delivery of solutions, supported by Project Managers for governance.
• Gather and elicit requirements to address vulnerabilities, business continuity, and disaster recovery needs.
• Document "as-is" and "to-be" processes, technologies, and frameworks for security transformation initiatives.
• Oversee documentation, governance, and compliance specific to cybersecurity standards and licensing requirements.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance security maturity and support organizational resilience.
• Work in large scale regulated environments, collaborating with businesses handling significant customer data.
